(3DPrint.com) Australian company Maker’s Empire is making its first contribution to the 3D printing world with the launch of its 3D design app of the same name. The name of the app comes from the idea that people should be “makers” or creators. To this end, the app, which is only available for the iPad, was designed with accessibility in mind. To create the app, the Maker’s Empire team participated in ANZ Innovyz START accelerator, a program that helps businesses make their inventions profitable. They then partnered with 3D Printing Systems and three elementary schools in Adelaide, Australia, to roll out a pilot program.
